CHEESE STEAK STUFFED PEPPERS
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- ½ cup of diced onion
- ½ lb. of ground beef
- 1 teaspoon of salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 c.of tomato sauce
- 3 bell peppers, properly halved
- ¾ cup of mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat then add in the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add in the onions and saute for about five minutes.
- Next, add in other ingredients like the ground beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and then cook for about ten minutes until the beef is cooked
- Add in the tomato sauce and stir.
- Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees F,
- Place the peppers into the air fryer’s tray and stuff with the beef mixture.
- Cook for about seventeen minutes.
- Once the timer is at fifteen minutes, take out the tray and sprinkle cheese on top of the peppers then place the tray back into the air fryer.
- Cook the stuffed peppers for the remaining two minutes then serve.
