An easy three-cheese stuffed mushroom recipe with smoked cheddar, cream cheese, and Parmesan. It’s the perfect appetizer or party food.
We use smoked cheddar in this recipe but any cheese can be substituted. You can add and experiment with herbs and spices to make these any flavor you want.
CHEESE STUFFED MUSHROOMS
Ingredients
- 30 medium button mushrooms
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 1/4 c smoked cheddar cheese shredded
- 1/4 c diced roasted red pepper
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/3 c grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Pop the stems off of mushrooms and clean. Be sure you create a hole for the cheese mix.
- Mix cream cheese, smoked cheddar cheese, diced red pepper, onion, and garlic together.
- Add salt and pepper and mix well
- Pack cavity of each mushroom with filling.
- Press top of mushroom in grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place them in 9 x 13 baking dish, cheese-side-up.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden.
