These sugar-free, candied nuts use only three ingredients and are keto-friendly and low-carb. You can make these quick using just a skillet and they are done in only a few minutes. You can use them for snacking, for holidays and even for gift giving.
Our recipe calls for erythritol, but any kind of keto-friendly sugar substitute will work. You can even add some Swerve brown sugar and cinnamon for extra flavor. Simply replace some of the erythritol for Swerve and heat the same way.
It’s easy to over-indulge on almonds and nuts anytime, but these sweetened nuts are even tastier so be careful how many you eat as they are loaded with calories.
Be careful not to overcook as the almonds will just become wet and the sugar will not crystallize.
