Keto Double Chocolate Shake

Yes, this shake has a higher carb count than what we usually post, but every once in a while, you just need some chocolate! Just be sure to account for the carbs or save it for a cheat day if you do cheat days.

You can lower the carb count if you use sugar-free dark chocolate and leave out the protein powder. It’s entirely up to you.

If you do want some rich, chocolate flavor, you can whip this up in less than 10 minutes but be sure you don’t over-indulge. Instead, save this treat for special moments when you want to celebrate or when you just need some chocolate.

KETO DOUBLE CHOCOLATE SHAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed ice, divided
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup heavy (whipping) cream
  • 1 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp. unsweetened chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. chopped 90 percent dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp. sugar-free chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. In a blender, place 1/2 cup of ice.
  2. Add the almond milk, heavy cream, and coconut oil.
  3. Blend to combine.
  4. Add the protein powder, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, chocolate syrup, and remaining 1/2 cup of ice.
  5. Blend for one minute or until smooth.
