For those who would eagerly await Saint Paddy’s Day to get the Shamrock Shake, we have a great substitute for those who have transitioned to the keto lifestyle.
Using avocado as the base gives it that creamy base and you can use it for any flavor shake. A bit of vanilla extract is used for the typical ice cream flavor.
Fresh mint can be found in any supermarket aisle but you can use mint extract if you prefer. Start off with just a few drops as it can be quite potent. Experiment to find the amount of mint that you like.
If you want whipped cream, simply mix up a cup of whipped topping by mixing a cup of heavy cream, 1 tablespoon of stevia and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add the amount you want to the top.
Shave a little sugar-free chocolate in it for a delicious chocolate mint flavor.
