This is the perfect low-carb sauce for your Asian recipes. You can replace the maple syrup with Stevia if you want.

LOW CARB HOISIN SAUCE

Notes

Makes 1/2 cup

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp. of Tamari sauce
  • 2 tbsp. of natural peanut butter, smooth
  • 2 tsp. of rice wine vinegar, unseasoned
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3 tsp. of sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. of frank’s hot sauce
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. of Chinese five spice
  • 2 tsp. of sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. of xanthan gum

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend for 3 minutes.
  3. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
