Low Carb Meatball Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated or shredded parmesan
  • 1 shredded zucchini about 1 cup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup no sugar added pasta sauce

  • 8 oz shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Spray casserole dish with cooking spray

  3. Mix and Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs.
  4. Make 24 meatballs
  5. Put meatballs in the casserole dish. 
  6. 
Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Drain the cooking liquid from the casserole dish.

  8. Top with sauce and cheese.
  9. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
