This is a rich and creamy sauce that does not taste low-carb. You will be surprised at just how easy this recipe is and it only takes five ingredients!
You won’t need flour to thicken this sauce as the cheese and cream will thicken up just fine on its own.
SAUSAGE ALFREDO WITH ZUCCHINI NOODLES

Ingredients
- 2 zucchini spiralized
- 12 oz. hot Italian sausage
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil
Instructions
- Cook sausage thoroughly for about 10 minutes.
- While the sausage is cooking, spiralize your zucchini into a colander.
- Add salt to spiralized zucchini to pull out the water.
- Remove sausage from pan but leave about a tablespoon of the grease drippings.
- Add the butter and garlic and saute for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add heavy cream.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add in cooked sausage.
- Try to get as much liquid out of your zucchini noodles.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil to a clean skillet and add zucchini.
- Stirring constantly, cook to desired tenderness about 3 - 5 minutes.
- Plate the zucchini noodles and add the Alfredo sauce.
