BUTTERED COD FILETS

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds of cod fillets
- 6 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 tsp. paprika
- 6 lemon slice
Instructions
- Mix dry seasoning in small bowl.
- Cut thawed cod into smaller pieces and coat with seasoning.
- Heat 2 tbsp. of the butter in a large skillet.
- After butter melts, add the cod and fry for 2 minutes.
- Turn down the heat, add the remaining butter as pats over each piece of fish and cook for another 4 minutes.
- Do not overcook as the fish will become too mushy.
- Drizzle the cod with fresh lemon juice.
- You can add your choice of herbs, such as cilantro, parsley or fresh dill when serving.
