It’s difficult making stuffed cabbage rolls and when you’re in a hurry, this is simply not the best option. You can get all the deliciousness of pigs in a blanket without the carbs and without all the mess.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1 green pepper
  • 14 oz. canned diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 cups diced cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or cheese of choice

Instructions

  1. Dice green peppers and cabbage.
  2. Add ground beef to large skillet and add spices.
  3. Cook until browned.
  4. Add diced green peppers and cabbage and cover skillet.
  5. Cook for 15 minutes.
  6. Remove cover and add cheese.
  7. Recover and let cheese melt for 5 more minutes.
